Excuse me, Mr. Peak, but you don't know what the hell you are talking about!!!!! There never has been a dealer cost of $3800 on the supercharger kit. And if that is what the guy at the dealer tells you, then he's on glue!

I remember talking to you at Asheville. You're the one who thinks you know more about running a manufacturing company than we do. Since you feel a need to tell us how much we should sell a product for, let me ask you this. Do you tell the grocery store guy how much he should sell his milk for? Do you tell the department store clerk how much to sell a pair of jeans for? If you want to complain about a company trying to make a profit on their products, have you ever considered how it is that cigarette and beer companies can spend hundreds of millions of dollars sponsoring race cars every year? It's because they make HUGE profits on every can of beer and every pack of cigarettes that people consume. If a company didn't make a profit, why would they even go into business? I suggest you go take a class in economics and try to learn more about the realities of running a business.

$4400? $4895? Comptech builds the best and currently only supercharger for this car. It's worth every penny and more. I can't imagine the R&D costs that must go into a product such as this. Don't begrudge them a fair profit.

I'm not trying to take sides in this "debate" but I've bought many products from Comptech including 2 superchargers and have been more than pleased with both. If you want the best product, look no further. If you want the cheapest, look elsewhere. Just my $.02.

Gee, I didn't mean for you guys to turn it into a flame war.
I was just suggesting that someone had that offer for group buy.
Personally, I was only looking for headers for TL-S.
I'm repeating myself...........

No war here. But listen Mike B, you were an ass to me and everyone else that talked to you. You ran when you were confronted about a bad product. Be a little more of a man and tell me if you arnt going to do anything about your product. And I did pay my dealer $3,800 for the charger. And $1,050 for the exhaust. I understand that you are a little pissed, I would be too if I was selling what you were. I tried to be nice at first, but you, as I said, were an ass to me.

Name calling really lends alot of credibility to your argument Peak. Maybe some specifics would help. I met Mike and thought he was a pretty nice guy. He answered my questions and was very helpful.

This all started when someone saw that my exhause tips didnt match. One stuck out about 1/2 inch farther. I knew that I had a problem, but when I saw other cars with the same problem, I decided to say something about it. I was cool the first time I talked to Mike B, but when he took off after I brought up the problem, that is when I got a little pissed. All he said was that he would talk to his welder. What is that doing for me and the others that have spent the money? Nat a damn thing. So I brought it up again to him later, and he did the same, just walked away. Ok, so I was a little more pissed when he did that to me again, so I decided to sell the exhaust. In all of that, I met the guy with the SC on his red S2K. And they did the same to him (not sure about what exactly). He was so pissed at Comptech that he decided to sell some of his Comptech stuff and send his car to King Motorsports. I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't run my businesses the way they do. I admit my mistakes and will help in any way, and not turn my back. I guess when it comes down to it, they just pissed off the wrong person. And I will scan and post a copy of the jobber price sheet, so that everybody knows that what I say is correct. So keep your eyes out for that.

All of my dealings with Comptech have been very pleasant. I had the first supercharger for this car and thus had a few minor difficulties. These were brought up with Mike and Shad over the phone. No one avoided my questions and any and all problems were corrected to my satisfaction entirely at Comptech's expense.

I don't know what took place during your experiences other than what you have described, but my experience has been completely the opposite.

If you aren't happy with the exhaust, I'd be happy to buy it from you.
