Just played it for the first time last night at my cousins ... the graphics on this game are iNsAnE! Definitely picking up a PS3 in the next month or so ... where's the best place to pick up the Prologue?

I got it at target... probably the same price most everywhere. its like 35 + shipping on amazon... so you might as well just buy it new for 39.99

I never checked because my wife bought it for me at Gamestop but I believe downloading it a the PS3 store network is cheaper.

It's fun but can be frustrating at the same time. I hate it when people bump you on purpose. It's a simulation game designed to really get close to true driving as it can. The least people can do is drive it like it's a real car. I try to at all cost avoid hitting or nudging other cars but people purposely aim at me like a target...

I gave up on trying to slipstream online.

Game is fun online, just hate when you are paired up with people that have no concept of driving and just slam into you for their brakes and toss you off course and whatnot. Can't even begin to really count how many times already I have been leading a race or in the top 3 to get punted by some cumguzzler.
True. I just started playing the game a couple of days ago, so I'm still stuck with the beginner's group online. I'm hoping the intermediate and expert groups don't have as many people who can't drive. The penalty system should be tougher.

Im having trouble shifting correctly in manual transmission. I wish every car on the game had a tach like im used to with the S. Im addicted to the in-car view, but I cant see the tach well enough in the dash while watching the road, the 'bar' tach at the bottom right is too far away, and the shift light down there is so small and dim I cant even see it using peripheral vision.

I've started using the view with the floating tach/speedo/rear view mirror. much easier! The game is so fun tho!

The GT5 Prolouge is awesome. Its great that the Amuse s2000 is such a dominate car in the game when playing online. I love using the tuned Lotus 111R, but it lacks power. Best handling car in the game though.

As for one of the previous posters saying the wheel used to feel horrible in gt5. At one point there was a gt5 demo out that didn't have force feedback and it was a limp steering wheel with no feel.

The prolouge has feedback, as well as the new wireless controllers that came out for the ps3. $55 instead of $50 for the one without vibration.

Thank you so much for the translations! I finally got it to update after 3 days of trying and now I take back everything I said about the steering. Haha I finally set the steering on simulation, the force feedback on max and all the assists off and now I can't stop playing the game! When using the wheel, you can really feel the weight difference in each car! I have to say the cars are a lot harder to drive compared to gt4 but it's so rewarding when you get it right!
