Default Gutted car weight

Does anybody have a general idea of what the s2000 with no engine, seats, rear diff, wheels, trunk, hood, doors, and top would weigh?

Please dont flame on me, it just a question.

It depends how HOW much you gut. Some time attack s2ks are as low as 2200.

engine, seats, rear diff, wheels, trunk, hood, doors, and top

The question isn't asking about a race stripped car, but a completely gutted car. Basically just the body shell -- not even doors.
One of the guys in the R&C forums did strip a car down to the frame and sheet metal only, and it was roughly 1400 lbs.

Alexs2200 has a car in that form at his shop right now as well, he may be able to give you an exact weight.

That much? I think the frame has to be lighter than an F-body car, and that one completely stripped out, I could easily lift the front...probably less than 600 lbs total.

Question comes from metrying toget a freight shipping price. I bought that RHD front clip and need it shipped. Nothing to do with a race car, sorry.
