Default H Emblem On Steering Wheel

I just noticed my H emblem has a couple of dents in it. At first I had one and was like what the heck, then I hit the horn like I normally do, and guess what...now I have 2 dents in the damn thing. What is up with that?

The '04 S2000 driver-airbag "H" badge is a thin strip of steel so it isn't that structurally sound. Mine has no dents but it's got a couple of small nicks on it from I don't know what. I guess we can't use the "H" badge as a surface to press on to use the horn because it can't take the pressure.

The emblem on mine has a nice little scratch in it when I accidentily smacked the steering wheel with the seatbelt buckle one time. I know I'm being anal, but would it be possible to replace that little metal piece without having to get a whole new steering wheel? LOL

Can the badge be removed or will it set off the airbag maybe? Does Rick's make a badge for MY04 steering wheels?

I thought his badges were for MY00-MY03 only. The one that is shaped like the one on the steering wheel is actually the one for the front and back and has a couple of plugs that go into the body, so that wouldn't work on the steering wheel? The ones on the rims I don't know about. Then again I could be talking out of my ass, who knows?

The '04 would be very tricky to remove without damaging the airbag itself. The "H" emblem tucks in underneath the airbag cover and I believe it is pressed on but I could be wrong. If anyone is interested I have a brand new set of 4 Spa Yellow on Silverstone wheel badges and a pair of Spa Yellow on Black front and rear custom badges for sale. First $85 shipped for the entire set takes it. Btw, the price for the wheel badges is $60 and the price for the front/rear set is $67.60 (previously $99) on Rick's website.

*For any confusion, I had my member name officially changed from "2.2L_s2000" to "Rio S2K"

Rick's badges do not have the posts. They simply sticky on the car with adhesive. They are not like the OEM/JDM hood and trunk badges.

I recently purchased the complete set of Rick's badges: front and back S badges (yellow on black), as well as the center cap badges for the wheels and the steering wheel badge. I have an MY04...and everything fits (looks great) except for the streering wheel badge...it doesn't fit. I did take the O ring it comes with....made a few adjustments with a razor...now it fits like a charm...and doesn't look bad at all.
