H&R Coilovers
Hey guys
. Im about to buy H&R coilovers for my 05 AP2 . My car is turbocharged and i want coilovers to get a little better handling at highway and for looks.
So what do you think about them . I dont want anything bouncy or harsh . I want something a little stiffer than stock thats all.
From what ive read :
- Ap2 spring rates
F: 4.16 R:4.68
- H&R Spring rates
F: 6.16 R: 6.16
They dont seem to be alot more harder than stock . And the other good thing is , they have external oil tanks at the rear shocks just like stock .
So what do you think ?
Thanks
Tolga

The external reservoirs per se won't help you a lot. H&R have a very good reputation here in Europe, though.
There are some H&R Coilovers for sale on the Honda-Tech.com forum currently, they are a reasonable coilover, good quality and good for fast road applications.
It does have the extra reservoir on the rear coilovers like OEM and this is always welcome as it does improve the quality of the damping response.
With regards to the US market, I know you guys run on concrete and ashphalt and that does make a large difference to the largely tarmac roads we have here in Europe.
Personally I'd try them, and if you don't like 'em, sell them on!
