yes, the S-02 225/50's are pretty much equal to others' 245/45.

I don't think this is true for the front, though. I run 205F/245R. The worst from that is a little more understeer, which at my talent level is not a bad thing.

im running in the front 225 instead of the stock 205 and the rear 245.
putting wider tires in front gives you more grip in front, making it more likely for the rear to come around if you drive it hard. Couple that with worn rear tires and a clear lack of skill and knowledge and you're probably lucky you haven't lost control before now.

Read threads like these always make me wish that like would sometimes emmulate video games such as Gran Turismo where you would have to pass certain "driving tests" before being able to have access to higher performance vehicles. The roads would be much safer, and our insurance rates would be more reasonable.

Of course the auto manufacturers would enevr let such a practice occur...

Just wanted to tell you guys what happened this weekend with one of my buddies. Was crusing in some streets hitting around 45-60. Then there was this turn which is pretty wide which i usually hit pretty fast. I guess this time I was a little unlucky. I braked till like 30-35, started taking the turn, but i think i accelerated too much while turning and my car started to lose control, I then braked but it wasnt helping much. I ended up hitting the meadian on the left side with the front of the car. I was able to str8 the car while it was lost control so it wouldnt hit the median sideways. Luckily, the meadian was kinda slanted so I prob hit it at 1-015mph and just wend a lil over it So I didnt have no damage. But ever since then im afraid of this happening agian and a pole being there. What can i do to help this.I know one answer would to be to stop taking turns that quickly but i wouldnt think this car would have this problem. By the way it seemed it was the rear end which lost control. Thanks..
Hey,

before you really hurt yourself or others, please slow down.
Also, as others have mentioned, take your car to the track or auto-x events and learn to drive the car properly.

That is all you need.

Yep, take a driving class. An English class probably wouldn't hurt either.
