had a scare today
I've kept the insurance active this Fall on the S as I usually cancel it at the beginning of October.
A gorgeous weekend was begging me to go for a top down drive so I headed over to Kitchener for lunch. I'm at a stop light second in line to turn left behind a Prelude. Two lanes over, with the windows up, is an OPP cruiser. The left turn arrow comes on and the Prelude hesitates then proceeds. I'm feathering the throttle as easily as I can and short shifting into second to keep the Invidia from growling too loudly.
Me and the Lude make it through the intersection and are headed for the same parking lot entrance. I look in my rear view mirror and see the cop right on my ass. I think f$%#. He's going to ticket me for my exhaust on the last day that I drive my car for the season. C@#$%#@sucker!!
I pulled into a parking space and started to put the top up watching for the cop. Thank Christ he drove past me and zoomed over to where the Prelude had just parked. Pulling in behind him blocking him in with the Roof lights on.
I walk calmly into Kelsey's and wait in the foyer looking out the widow at the cop.
I have no idea why he took off after the Prelude except that he probably thought the Prelude was a ricer with an illegal exhaust. I bet the cop didn't even recognize what kind of car the S was so he ignored me for the poor fellow in the Prelude.
That is all.
