Hagerty insurance for a S2000
Prices are crazy right now. I was looking at values to nail down an appropriate Hagarty value for mine. Dealers near me have 2005-2007 S2000s with 40K-60K miles and are asking over $40K. One is asking $50K for a lower mileage 2001. And there's a Laguna Blue with about 4,000 miles they have listed for $100,000. It seems any examples in the $20K-$22K range are gone, regardless of mileage, condition, etc.
Some P cars are also going bananas but in larger swings than what our S2000s are going through. Some of the last air cooled Ps are nuts and even 2017 GT3 RS s, which folks had to pay over a $100,000 premium to get over MSRP, are now in the $350-$450 range.
Recently switched my car to Hagerty via my Liberty Mutual broker. $444 for my '01 with value set at $20,000. I'm in the Philly burbs. Thats less than what I was paying LM with no guaranteed value.
My friends with their janky 80's BMWs and Porsches have utilized the included towing benefit several times. Luckily I haven't yet, but it's nice to have with an older car. The magazine you get is pretty kick ass too.

My "new" 2004 is being shipped to me as I type. I just activated Hagerty insurance at $35k valuation (more than I paid for the car) for $639 for the year. I'm in the Cleveland burbs and have no accidents or tickets in the last year, and wifey can't drive manual, so will not be driving. I expect to have to change valuation next year as prices appreciate. Experience was simple and done online. I may add my NSX shortly, but I expect that will be LOTS more expensive given appreciation and my mods (it's got a SOS twin turbo setup putting down 450 rwhp).
