I woke up the other morning after a storm to find hundreds of small dents on my hood and trunk from hail. It looks like a golf ball with all of the dimples. Anyone know if there is a way to get these out or if I should just go through my inurance and take it to a body shop? I was thinking of trying a rubber mallet on the underside but I don't think I'll be able to get to all of them.

 

This is where insurance is your friend.. a PDR specialist can get those dings out.. but w/ the shear volume, it will become cost prohibitive so use ur Ins.. Plus, it's considered a comp claim...

 

call insurance and fill out a claim, lucky you!
your probley going to get a grip load of $$$ if your covered.

i try to do this every year but some years it doesnt hail as hard
and this is my first year with the S! i want to get a cf hood and trunk with a lip with my money i get!
