Default Hairline scratches on driver's side window...

I was looking at my car yesterday and there are abou 20 hairline scratches less than half an inch long. I have no idea how they got there. Is there anyway to get them polished out or something like that? Do you think it would be covered under warranty? What do you guys think? Thanks!

Since we can't see them, why don't you just take it to your service dept. and ask them?

There are glass polishes out there, but I'd talk to the service dept first and see if it's covered, better to replace for free then to fix.

Captain obvious here, but its also worth checking to see what may have caused them to make sure it doesn't do it again if you replace/repair the glass.

Do you wear a diamond ring? This could be the possible cause for some unknown scratchs. Also be careful with the interior trim pieces, diamond will scratch anything and everything.

Mine gets scratched on the inside from the seat belt buckle hitting it when I take it off and let it go before it fully retracts. I just live with it, because I know I will do it again after I fix it.
