Half Shaft Spacers - must read for lowered s2000s

I'm dropped an inch, have FI, autocross, and in general drive the car very hard, and have not seen any need for the spacers. I'll consider them only when and if I have some kind of problem that can be traced to the need for the spacers. If and when we find any such damage or wear I'll post up pictures and our best guess (analysis) as to the contributing factors. Basically the same thing Billman and I are doing with our AP1 retainers; Well try to beat them to death without making a money shift, and if we succeed, we'll post pictures.

you guys are getting it wrong. the half shaft spacer has nothing to do with the alignment of the wheel. its angle of the axle going into the hub. getting the spacer will not change your alignment. the group buy thread explains everything.
a proper alignment after any lowering job should be done. thats why your camber is all messed up. or maybe you are just too low and need camber plates.
oh and to the OP, i've been lowered 1.1 inches for about 7 months, 8k miles, without half-shaft spacers and no problems so far.

They have nothing to do with the alignment of the car. People just want them because some JDM outfit says there needed 
I will make them if I get 12 or more PM's
I can not openly sell on the forum because I am not a vender. When I make stuff for you guys it's sold to you for a few bucks over my cost and to cover CAD time.This is something I made for the FI guys

I have the MotorKlasse spacers. I totally agree--they do nothing for alignment. They only move the axle shafts, not the wheels. After I paid (actually my warranty paid) $900 for new rear inner CV joints, I figured it was time to install them. Took 30 minutes. You can't tell any difference at all driving the car. Hopefully they lengthen the life of the CV joints.

To the OP, with the amount that people are charging, wait until you have a problem and can justify the cost. Unless you are dumped, I really don't think you need them. I think it's a bling mod more than anything.

I'm concerned about doing more harm installing them when not needed. My drop is on Espelirs, so it's not slammed, but I have these 10mm spacers sitting around for no use now.
I'm driving around some first to see if the springs settle anymore and see if I can notice any new behaviors with the car now that it is dropped to make the call on installing these or selling them.
1" F and 1 1/2" R no issues at all. My alignment has been on the money as well for the past few years When I did the drop I had the car aligned to my specks and it has kept it's setting since.I think the spacers are for the guys that use coil over and do a slam drop.
