My S2K is on the way! VIN number JHMAP11491T000648. Now I have to hope for the reliability of the three week delivery lag time from VIN notification.

Congrats! Now you can put all the stuff that is piled up in your garage and closets on an actual car. Have a happy v-tec!

Rick,

Congratulations on your new VIN number . If there's anyone who deserves an S2K at this point it's you. I can't imagine doing all the work you've done for this car BEFORE even owning one.

What was the original delivery date for yours again Rick? And does this latest bit of information ring true to the original ETA?

djohnston,

No, it's about three weeks late. I was expecting the VIN at the beginning of October and delivery by the end of October or early November. But it looks like Thanksgiving now (but maybe there's an omen in that).

Anway, I couldn't be happier. It's been such a long wait, another three weeks won't kill me. Plus I now have a deadline to get the headrest and windscreen projects moving along.
