Unhappy Hard Top Help & Berty basic upgrades?

Hi all, i'm new to the forum and have recently traded in a boxster S for an S2K and have a couple of queries which someone in this forum may be able to help on possibly.

I've got a 2001 plate but its not a GT and therefore did not come with a hardtop and wondered if anyone knew whether I can still purchase one and have one fitted or whether hard tops only fitted CT models?

Also, whether there are any specific spec upgrades with regards to power (0 - 100mph) or body styling that is common knowledge? Any help would be much appreciated.

Best regards Dexter Flash

You can buy a hardtop from Honda to fit any S2000,or aftermarket.(Mugen,etc...)
As for h.p.increase,go with a SC.

You need the hard top hardware install kit. It's sold in the US for about $100, maybe contact www.hardtopguy.com.

As for power upgrades, the most bang for the buck is the Comptech S/C.

Cheers for the replys, ill have to look into Superchargers, anyone know how much or where to buy one in the UK (Southeast/London region)? Is it worth upgrading the airfilter to a K&N? Ive used them in the past (many moons ago) and booster valves etc and theyve never seemed to make much difference at all. Would be kewl to find out if there is ever any meets in the West/East Sussex region.

Dexter get yourself onto the UK forum https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showforum=25

You can fit a hardtop retrospectively, you will need a fitting kit (which has all the bits needed to fix it to the car) as well as the top itself. Lots of people on the UK board have done this.

If you want serious straight line performance, you bought the wrong car ...... but forced induction is the way to go, just don't expect it to be cheap. You will be looking at
