do it. getting a hardtop is not a permanent change anyway. maybe money wise but u can always pop it off or on anytime!

I have a plastic rear window, Scratched up foggy piece of Sh*%! I wish I had a hardtop, but I also like the convertible top in the summer. So, I say get both, if you have the $$$.

I understand what you're trying to say but the convertible top isn't the only reason to buy an S.

If you spend any time on S forums (and I know Saki GT has) you'll see that there are plenty of people for whom the convertible top was not a selling point but the rest of the driving experience was.
