Default Hard Top Strength and Mugen Roll Cage

I am curious on how strong you all think the hard top is. Will it survive in a roll over? *knock on wood* How much protection will it offer in a roll? Thirdly, do you think it will cover the Mugen Roll Cage?

I don't believe that it would hold up to well in a rollover. It only weighs 44lbs + it is made of aluminum. Of course I could be wrong

Hey! No posts about damaging a hardtop the day right after I get mine installed! Give me a few weeks to enjoy it before you spoil my fun!

Congrats on the hard top. I think it is beautiful, it should have came from the factory like that. Hopefully, I'll have one before next winter. Oh, I better start packing my lunch

About that hard top - does it give the same headroom as the soft top? How do you connect up the rear window defroster thingie after putting the hard top in place? I assume it is a two person job to put it on and remove it, but how difficult is that job? Inquiring minds want to know.

it offers just about the same amount of headroom, is far quieter, and makes your stereo sound a little nicer installation is as follows - put top down - place hardop on car, connect small defroster wire behind drivers seat, attach two latches behind seats, close two latches overhead, go drive. lydia and i can have it done in about 20 seconds. takes far longer to get it out of the house than it does to install or remove it.

Will it survive a rollover??? I hope you don't mean undamaged. I don't care what kind of car you have, if you roll it, the roof gets f*cked up.

Will tracks that require Roll Cage for convertibles let you run if you have the Hard Top?
