Hard tops not that popular in Oz?
My dealer rang today to flog me an aeroscreen and a hard top. Seems they had excess stock at reduced prices.
I told him I already had an aeroscreen that doesn't work and that the hard tops are ludicously priced. He agreed and that was the end of the conversation.

Yesterday was the first day I've put my roof up when it wasn't raining profusely. It was incredibly hot and I was touring the western suburbs.
My dealer rang me about a hardtop months ago but he was talking $7500 I think. What are they talking now?

Even Honda were serious, they would reduce the price to a more realistic level. When I first asked, they were talking some $7,000 to fit the damned thing. They got to be kidding.
Also, they told me they had to punch a couple of holes into the car to fit the clips. I didn't like that idea much either so I gave it away.
Anyway, the soft top is fine for the amount of times it is up.

They came down a little in price when the GST was introduced - I think they are around $6,700 at present. Interestingly enough there is a guy who works in my building who has a full time hardtop on his Silver Stook - ya gotta be nuts!!
