Does anyone have some quick pointers or instructions. Maybe a xerox copy of some type of manual that explains the initial installation process for the hardtop with the dealer hardware kit?

Depends what year your car is.

Go here:

click on the year of your car, then click on "view installation instructions"

That should take care of ya..
