I love mine, too. It's on about 50% of the time. (See where I live!)
I didn't really want a convertible but I did want the S2000. I held off buying it until the hardtop was available. I would not have bought it if Honda didn't go that route. Hardtop? I wouldn't have it any other way.
Yes, I have a bit of wind noise just to my left, however, it doesn't leak when I wash the car. The top also squeaks when the temps get down below freezing. I suppose I could adjust the wind noise out if I wanted to and I suppose I could silicone grease the heck out of that rear seal to get rid of the squeak, if I wanted to but I've gotten used to these things and it's no longer a bother.
The top requires the installation of a mounting kit that takes about 3 hours to install. Once on, it stays on and the top can be lifted on or off by two people in a matter of a minute or so. You can also build yourself a hoist to make it a one person job and to store it up and out of the way.

I think my response was taken the wrong way. While I do have issues with noise, I would buy it again if I had to do it over again. I do prefer the feeling of driving down the road with the top down... but it is perfect for a rainy Vancouver winter.

Mine is on from Oct 1 to May 1, love the 2nd look it gives the car. No problems with it at all, can put it on/off with the wife in just a couple minutes. It seems the biggest problem for many hardtop owners is where to store it when off the car.
