Hardtop?
Question for you long term HT users:
Do you do anything special with the soft top before stowing it prior to installing the hard top? Mainly, I'm refering to those of you who keep the HT installed for several months at a time. Does the soft top show a lot of wrinkling after it's brought out of hybernation?
Just wondering,

Yes, it comes out pretty wrinkled, but that really depends at what temperature you put the ragtop up. An hour in the sun, and it looks like new. It's not any different than someone who just leaves their top down for a few weeks.
Remember, it's vinyl. There's no permanent memory or damage from leaving the top down for any length of time. And with the reduced exposure to the elements, the ragtop will likely last much longer.

just wanted to say a big thank you for your advise on the squeaky hard top.
I called at the dealership and give them the info from you. They sorted it out no probs!, however they did seem to want to take it on test rides (5 in total), just to make sure they had it right.
Anyway thank you, its nice to know I can talk to someone in the know?.
By the way I got my official pass this morning, it took the chill of the credit card bill.
bye for now.
