i've had my hardtop for some time now... the top squeaks when i go over drive ways or pot holes... i want to know how i can adjust the front catchers to hold tighter... do i have to remove the a-pillar lining or is there a way to adjust it on the hardtop itself.. any info would help

 

there are shims under the latches - take off the two screws that hold the latches and remove one of the shims on both sides

 

On a similar topic- how can I eliminate the rattling of the two ragtop latches? Inquiring minds want to know...
