With the hardtop, i agree. But i like the black window frame with the soft top, up or down. And top down is sort of the primary configuration, don't you think?

I have the same color combo, and removed the tape a while ago. Zero regrets. Much better looking with the top down (IMHO), about the same with the top up.

Kinda personal opinion and all... Like trying to convince a RED lover that SILVER shows the lines of the S2K like no other color.

What else did the hardtop come with and any ideas for the sub 5000 VIN conversion kit?

Could someone post pics of a view from inside looking out the hardtop rear window from different angles?

Here is a quick pic taken over my shoulder, can perhaps give you some idea of the improvement in visibility.

Bassman:

It looks like the trim doesn't match the car (it looks bluer than the car's trim). Is this just a trick of the light?

This board is super because of people like you. Thanks for sharing the pics. Hard to believe that I'm sitting here in sunny Arizona (USA) looking at pics of a silverstone/red like mine that's in Sweden. Here's my question: how are the squeeks and rattles of the top?

About color: i think it's a trick of the lighting, the side panel is of the same plastic (color, surface) as the panels behind the seats and the rollbars.

About squeeks and rattles: absolutely none so far from the hardtop. Only time will tell, but it feels solid. There are however some new small noises from the engine, transmission and the interior that i have not been able to hear before the hardtop lowered the overall noise level. I'll get used to them i guess...
