Does shinetsu last through rain? Im using some generic white lithium grease and it squeaks again after every rain storm.

I have all the reinforcement bars out except for a roll bar and I noticed it transfered the flex even more into the top. I hear the flexing even with the soft top closed.
Don't use the lithium. Since all rubber products are petrolium based, these products can react to dissolve rubber and this of course would also include Shin-itsu.
Use a SILICONE based grease for the effects of the silicone which is recommended and use only sparingly. The effects of the grease combined with the silicone do replace oils that are lost overtime and do act as a water and air repelant that are also corrosive to weatherstripping.
Sort of a double edge sword. Too much would not be good and too little would be even worse
Bottom line- Only small amounts used infrequently might be the best regimine and will enable the rubber to last for as long as you own your car.
