I bought my hardtop from hardtopguy, and it had the install kit included. If your seller hooked you up, he also sent you the side catchers that you need to install behind the seats.

Here is a link to the hardtop install kit if you need it: http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/product.ph...4&cat=92&page=1

If not, and your car has the catchers, then you should be good to go. Not sure if there is a big difference from 02 to 03 models as far as the install goes. I remember I had to use a chisel to bend a small part of the metal to get the catchers to fit. It was easy to do, and spelled out in the install instructions.

Here is a link to the PDF for installing the top on my 02: http://www.handa-accessories.com/s2000/s2k2top.pdf

It helps explain the chiseling part, and what extras you need. Good luck!

Oh, and to confirm, Johnny, you DO drop the soft top, then install the hardtop and hook it up to the rear catches, and the original strikers on the windshield. Two person job, but easy. My wife and I install/remove it in 10 minutes every time. Takes longer to walk it into the garage than to put it on the car!

The Mendii thanks for the info. The topp im looking at is OEM also. But for $600 for the instal kit. I think ill just go with a regular soft top instead! Holy sheeit! For the $1500 I save I can throw some bolt ons on the car or something! Thats crazy!

No prob - glad to help!

Yeah - price has gone up. I bought my top when the factory made too many Spa Yellow ones - paid $1800 SHIPPED to my door.

Mac - I hope you have all the parts you need to make your install easy!

Install is real easy. Also, those stoppers aren't worth it. They fell off the second time I used it. HTG can get them for you, but it's a waste of your money since they'll fall off again.

The hard top install is easy. No worries. All you need is a screwdriver, ratchet, and millimeter socket set IIRC.

^^^ unless your car has the catchers installed from a previous owner that isn't going to happen.
