Hey guys I've recently returned home from a year long deployment overseas, while I was deployed I purchased a Mugen replica hardtop from forbidden USA and I have everything needed for the install. Here is the problem I don't know where the two side brackets bolt down to the car, if anyone could please help me I would highly appreciate it. Pictures will be very helpful if you have them. Thanks guys!

Nope not at all. You just need a ratchet and a screwdriver.

 

Thanks for the help man. I got the top installed and im very surprised how easy the installation was. It looks great. I just need something to help with the creaking sounds when I go over bumps.

 

I applied some Shin-Etsu grease along the rear seal that makes contact with the body. Make sure that that seal is very clean and well greased or you might end up damaging your paint.

Okay, The grease wont damage the paint will it?

 

It shouldn't. A lot of people use this grease to lube up their seals, and that's what led me to use it. I left my hardtop on with this grease for ~8 months and it didn't cause any damage for me. You will hurt the paint if you're not using it though. I did! Fortunately for me, it will buff out.

 

Alright I ordered some. It only goes on the rear seal, right?

 

Thats all I did and it took care of ALL of my squeaks and sounds. Just grease it up nice and you'll be pleasantly relieved.
