Default hardtop installation kit

Hello all! I purchased a hardtop from a local who was getting rid of his-he just purchased a Mugen (I'm so jealous!) and just wondering what installation kit I need. There seems to be 3 different ones?

I have an 02 S, 02 hardtop. I keep seeing things on installation kit C?

Also, any info on where the best place to buy would be great!

Thanks much!

This is the information you need to convey to "Hardtopguy" (a board sponsor). He'll be able to give you a price quote for the kit you will require.

Check hardtopguy's site. I and many others have found him to be the best source for hardtops, parts and advice.

All hard tops are the same. So the year of the top does not matter. What matters is the year of your car when it comes to the defroster only. With that said, what if anything other then the hardtop did you get with it? Assuming you got nothing, then you need this -. http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/customer/p...4&cat=92&page=1

Hardtopguy put this kit together for just this reason. You have a top and nothign else, this will work. It is not something you can get from another dealer as a kit. You can get the parts from any dealer, but you will have to figure out which parts (or they will) you need.

Just to install the top, you need the side catchers -> http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/cust...ome.php?cat=92 The rest of the kit he sells, takes care of the misc parts needed to get the defroster working, Since you have an MY02, you will need the least number of parts to do that. That is why there is a 65 price differance between the catcher and the kit.

I think is the past the kit was only $140 (just the defroster items). I guess the other items were included in the hardtop price ($2500). Not anymore though (nowdays the whole thing is like $3700).
