Default Hardtop Locks

This is a re-post but i was told to put it on here instead...

Okay guys, i contacted "TopLoc" the makers of the Hard Top Locks for the Miatas and with theft on the rise it really concered me that we can one day walk out and have our tops stolen...

^^Email them! He said he wants an idea of the deman for this product to go into the S2000 community..

This is his email to me:

"They wont work on an s2k but there has been a lot of interest from you guys. If you know anyone else that is interested, ask them email me so I can get a grasp on the demand. The Miata community loves them. After 1 year of sales only one complaint and no recorded break ins. Let me know
-Blake"

Take the time and email him if you can and are interested. For $100 its a great investment.
Hopefully you guys will see the importance as much as me and make the right call..

BUMP IF YOU SEE THIS.

-Luis

Sounds like a good idea if you have a HT.

this is a fantastic idea that they should get to work on. i will definitely buy a set if they made one and will save me the trouble of trying to prototype/fab a set of my own.

I actually now spoke to the guy and hes been getting loads of emails. (S2ki, Honda-Tech, and S2Kca) He said the demand isnt high enough for him to design and build the locks just yet. But hes looking into working on it (SEND EMAILS) What this might look like is just a casing that goes over your hardware (VIS and OEM) to prevent from the bolts being un-tightened and in the OEM case it will not allow the lever to be released unless you take this off.
