exactly, "bolt it" whos to say that the thief that encounters your top isnt gonna have that tool that can take them off. Izzy for example, if i was a hardtop thief id buy them just to have the tool needed. Its only $100 bucks and every person with the Izzy's brackets has the same bolt patterns.

Actually the Izzy brackets don't come with bolts.

You have shown a good alternative for sure.

This is what I purchased for my Izzy Brackets.



It's all about options for sure, not trying to knock what you are pursuing by any means.

naw i know your not, and i respect that fact that you have alternatives. But my idea was that maybe this TopLoc thing could be a safer bet because not all keys are the same. Unlike the bolt one, i can now go get Izzy bolts and steal eveyones HT who has them. If you know what i mean. But those bolts might be a cool addition to the TopLoc. You can have those bolting it down so even if they do manage to break the lock now they have another problem.
