Hardtop sideways adjustment
My hardtop was installed on Tuesday with Dut's assistance and everything seems to be fine. It has been raining the last two days and there are no leaks or anything of that nature.
What we did notice is that the top is offset to one side a little more than the other (towards the passenger side) but is not noticeable unless you really look. There is no wind noise up to about 80mph but after that you can hear a little bit of wind on the driver's side window.
My questions are:
a) Should we even bother adjusting it since the offset is minimal?
b) How is the sideways adjustment done?
The reason I'm asking if we should bother adjusting is because we're afraid that it'll open up another can of worms and get worse before it gets better.

Okay, after dicking with it for the last 4 hours I am calling it a night. It seems like hardtop is at least centered now but I still get some wind noise on the drivers side window bottom corner.
After doing a search, it appears that I will have to adjust the channel beneath the weatherstripping. Anyone have experience with that?

If you remove the inside plastic on the inside of the hardtop, you can see 4 bolts. When two of them are loose, you can adjust the top/down setting. When the other two are loose, you can adjust the left/right a bit.
The best thing to do is to loosen all 4 bolts on both sides of the hardtop. Center it AND make sure the spacing between the car and the top is what it's supposed to be when the top is UN-latched. Then tighten all 4 bolts on either side. Then latch the hardtop in place.
