Contact hardtopguy.com

Their should have been a wire harness that came with the hardtop to hook up to the defrost.

there should be a wire with the top and one behind one of the seats to hook it to, there are countless threads on rhis, so before everyone sees this thread and flames you go look...

Behind the seats he means that you remove the panel behind the driver side seat and all the hook ups are behind there for the defroster cable.

If you have a MY02+, your S is prewired for the rear defroster. You should have made sure from the seller that the used OEM HT came with that cable. I would contact him first. If not, see if Jeff (hardtopguy) can sell you just the cable. The kit for MY02+ ($500) includes 2 bruss thingy, 2 catcher, and that cable. The cable serves 2 function, to reroute the power for defroster and to disable the softtop motor. Good Luck.

Which wire in that picture is for the defroster? Is it wire number 1(defogger ground)?

Thanks
