Default Hardtopguy.com?

Hey everyone-

I am interested in purchasing the 4.57 package from hardtopguy.com. When I click on the "details" under the picture, the price has jumped from $965 to $2463!

I can understand $1965 (with the $1000 core charge), but what is the extra $500+ coming from?

The gears alone are selling for $590! Installation cant be more than $1000-1200. Is the site screwing up, or am I missing something?

John

Delete the Comtech housing and delete the speed compensator (not recommended) and the price comes down to $1965.00. Subtract your core charge and you're down to $965.00. The installation is only $375.00. So the gears only cost you $590.00.

(Did you skip school that day? )

Is the speed compensator the same thing as the yellow box that Modifry sells?

Similar devices. Modifry sells the "Yellow Jacket" (sold in the forum marketplace). The "Yellow Box" is made in Australia and I believe this is what both HTguy and Rick's sells.

Just making sure. Who is best to order from? Ricks? HTG.com? Does the same person do the install for both?

Financial Aid kicks in this week, so I might be ordering them by friday .
