Default Yellow box questions for 4.57

I am about to do this mod, the 4.57's, and was just wondering if the other board members out there with aftermarket gears bought the yellow box or not. If not how much of a inaccurate reading does the gears give. Also what is the average price for this mod.

Your speedo would be about 14% off. It takes about 10 minutes to install, and we sell it for 90 + shipping.

With the Yellow Box, it would (+). And since the stock speedo is anywhere from 1 - 2% off to begin with, if you want it dead on, start with 13% and get paced by a police car or check it with GPS, then go from there.

I'll be calibrating mine as soon as I get my car back from Cleveland, so I'll post the settings when I have them.

So if I'm driving right now without the yellow box, at 65 mph, I'm actually doing 53 mph, correct? How do I use GPS to calculate my speed once I install the box?

Realize that without the yellow box, in addition to speed being off your odometer will increase quicker as well. This could affect warranty and resale because the car will indicate higher mileage than it actually has on it.
