Sorry you have read about bad experiences with HT Guy. Mine was fine. Exchanged a few PMs and phone calls. He was prompt in arrival, a very snowy, slippery day, and did a quality install.

Good enough for me.

My pics showing my Silverstone S2k with Synchro/Chicane hard top disappeared earlier, but the should be back in my Feb 24 post. Must have been gremlins during the conversion...

I went through this about 6 months ago: silverstone has been discontinued. The only color that Honda is required to keep in stock is black (because it was stock on the CRs) although I expect all the 2008 colors will be around for awhile longer.
Serious misinformation here... concerning black!

After some serious calling, all that's readily available:

NFR, Rio, Chicane and Laguna.

I found one new BB in Indianapolis, but the guy wants top dollar and won't budge.
I think what people failed to note is that the Honda sold the hardtop as an assembled accessory but also as an unassembled and unpainted body part. The painted + assembled accessory is now discontinued and people are having a hard time getting a hold of one.

Some people believe that berlina black will continue to be available due to laws but I believe that's only half the truth. It's probably true that Honda will have to continue supplying replacement tops for CR's but I bet Honda won't be supplying the parts as one assembled unit. Instead, one will have to purchase every single component separately and it'll be over $4000 if you need the entire top. Look up "roof panel" and "roof liner" at hondaautomotiveparts.com to see what I mean.
