Not to thread jack, but is there anyway to retro HID's into the highbeam? I have a spare ballist and projector and what not. Despite the ignition time for HIDs which would make it not so good for street use in terms of "Flashing" people etc. However, visibility would be AWESOME!!!

What size bulb is our high beam? I was just looking at this last night since I replaced my xenon bulbs with new D2S 8000k bulbs. Yes I know it's not as bright but works fine for me and the blueish glow looks pretty cool 
I want to replace my highbeam bulb with just Polarg hyperwhites to give the headlamp a nice blue tint when off - what size are those?
Doing HID in the high beams is not advised - just get a nice set of HID AUX driving lights from PIAA if you want more light at night. That's what I plan on doing.
