Are you just wanting to change the COLOR of the light? I can help you guys out if you're just wanting to replace your bulbs with new ones.

Most people have a common misconception that the higher the K (Kelvin temperature) the brighter it gets, but in fact, it is the opposite. The K rating is inversely proportional to the light output, therefore, the lower the K the brighter the light output. Maximum light output (luminosity) is achieved at lower color temperatures. For the most light output, choose 4300K or 6000K. If you are looking for a striking blue appearance choose a higher Kelvin rating. The 8000K, 10000K, are for those who want more of a

Not to jack the thread or anything, but it's kind of related. I wanted to get the same color lights for the high beams as the HIDs. I was looking at Polargs but have no idea which one to choose. If anyone could post a link to the exact item I want, it'd be greatly appreciated.

you have 'hid xenon' bulbs already. 'Xenon' bulbs are the specific type of high intensity discharge (HID) bulbs used in vehicle headlights. They are called xenon because xenon is one of the major gases contained in the arc chamber.

As mentioned above, there is no upgrade. you have the best bulbs already.

Some headlights will produce slightly different visible colors with the same color temp bulb, especially off axis, due to the projector/light housing.

there is no upgrade to be done here. the s2000's are rated number along with the tsx with projectors and hid. We have the WIDEST beam available and 4300k is the brightest your going to get. our HID bulbs are very expensive. I think the bulbs you are referring to are some cheap imitations that LOOK like hid but really run off of halogen gas so there is no ballast to run the bulb. i wouldnt mess with your bulbs unless your planning on actually buying a REAL hid bulb.

if you want to get more color then you would have to modify the shield inside of the projector.

4100K is the brightest color of light. This is the same color as the sun at noon. Our S2000's came with 4100K bulbs that have shifted to more of a 4300K or 4500K color after a few years. You do not want to buy anything higher than 4300K to replace the stock bulbs if you want maximum lighting. If you just want more blue color with a slight drop in lighting look into 6000K Philips Ultron (sp?) D2S HID bulbs.
