Default Has anyone done a glove box conversion?

I've just been wondering if anyone has put a glove box into their AP1/2v1? I just recently realized that Honda has added it, and wouldn't mind having one.

Wondering the cost mainly, but also if it restricts the leg room of the already cramped passenger side. Most of all I am wondering if it can be done.

Thank you

It's not a conventional glove box, more of a little cubby area, it doesn't close or anything... Big enough to hold cds tho.

Think this is the page that you would need to look at to find prices. Looks to run between 140-170 depending if you need the lower cover.

I pursued it, briefly. If I'm looking at the diagram correctly, on this page:

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/j...T+PANEL+GARNISH

It's item number 30. For $141.99, given the limited amount of storage space it adds, I decided to scrap the idea, and bought the behind-the-seat storage pocket instead.

One final thought that came to mind is that perhaps someone expert with fiberglass could take the existing 00-05 panel out and look to see what's behind it. If the answer is "nothing," as I suspect, this person could hollow out the original panel and fabricate some type of glove box type thing in its place. I don't know anything about working with interior stuff though, so I haven't bothered with this idea either...
