Has anyone perfected the hop?
So, is there anyone than can hop into the convertible in one swift motion? No jumping on the seats, looking like a tool, and crouching to get in. One swift motion.
If so, how do you do it? What is your angle of approach? Do you just hop hands free, or do you rest your hand on the door panel? Maybe the head rest? Do you move slide your seat all the way back before you get out of the car? Is the seat reclined at all?

I use the door. It's pretty sweet.
I'm so fanatical about the condition of the car that I don't want scuff marks should I not get the entry right lol!

i did it once.
first off, keep in mind that i am a 110lbs 5'2" asian teenager.
i place my left hand on the door with fingers facing outside. just as if you were to grab the top of the door while already sitting inside.
i hop up and into the cab using the left hand to help guide/stabilize myself while in air.
left arm is used to "paddle" through the air.
while wearing smooth bottom pumas, i aim my feet to hit right at the forward edge of the seat. this not only slows my decent but also acts as a slide for my legs to shoot into the foo twell.
being short allows the seat to be a bit forward with enough room to lean tilt the seat back all the way to gansta lean territory.
my buttock then hits the seat back and friction slows me down just a tiny bit before i hit the seat bottom.
all this doesn't help much because when the maneuver was done, my back did some post event protesting. dang that hurts!!
and i still had to open the door anyway because the belt is always tossed behind the seat/door from when i got out last time.
