Has anyone seen this issue before
I have just been to look at a second hand S2000 V reg (2001) Silver / red interoir. All in very good condition just a couple of issue that i could use some help with.
The tracking/camber is out on the front wheels and you can see that the fronts have worn on the inside. What would it cost for 2 new tyres and to fix the camber?
Also the front passenger disk looks like the pic. The pad is not contacting the disk correctly. What could this problem be and whats it likly to cost me. Should i be concened. I was thinking worst case = new caliber, disk pads?
Please any idea on costs and time to do. Honda prices would be great.

P.S.
I am in UK
Thanks in advance

sounds to me like this car may have been an accident. The issue with the tires is alignment related but if the vehicle can't be aligned right then something is bent... and if something is bent then its been hit. Also since you have issues with the pad not contacting the rotors properly then it is more then likely the front of the vehicle was involved in some kind of damage. I wouldn't take the risk with this car....
wow didn;t expect someone to say that. I don't think its been in an accident. The car is HPI clear, i would assume that would tell me if it was in a crash. Plus the whole front is to well fitting to be in a crash. Its the second car i have seen where the tracking was out in the same way. I assumed that like most cars the tracking needs to be maintained?
may not be in a wreck per say but he could have ate a curb... by the way just because CARFAX and other things clear out doesnt mean the car wasnt wrecked and fixed privately without anybody knowing.... just a suggestion but if u feel comfortable jump in... if it was me im saying I wouldnt take the risk... especially on an s2k
I'm with Armen on this one... I would use extreme caution. Could have easily bent suspension components without actually causing body damage. If you're still considering this car I'd look underneath for gouges in metal, check the underside of the front bumper, compare paint on all panels and the gaps between them, look for overspray, pull back the fender liner and see if the paint is OEM.
