I think the S appeals to our *ahem* older crowd because it represents the best of the sports car genre without all the hassles that used to come with it (think MG, Alfa, etc...). The S appeals to younger folks because it is an exceptional value in its space and it's way more exclusive than a Miata.

So, that said... where are the women at? I don't age discriminate...

Oh geez. Now regretting the "oral" comment. I was working the typical S2000 Talk crowd. Oh well, I doubt I seriously offended any of the more "Experienced" crowd. They got over that years ago.

One sign of being "experienced" is that it kinda' takes a little more effort to offend.

And it is alot better than the miata. . I see a few older men driving it but mostly guys in their 20's and 30's here in Philly. I wouldn't have bought it if it was a car for old women. Trust me, it is a sport car that is loved by more little kids than old women.

That's not what I was saying, rev. I meant that the car is appealing to both ends of the spectrum, including the little kids and the grandparents.

Frankly, this car "reputation" stuff is nonsense. I wouldn't think twice about it, and I certainly wouldn't base a car decision on it.
