I think the S appeals to our *ahem* older crowd because it represents the best of the sports car genre without all the hassles that used to come with it (think MG, Alfa, etc...). The S appeals to younger folks because it is an exceptional value in its space and it's way more exclusive than a Miata.
So, that said... where are the women at? I don't age discriminate...

That's not what I was saying, rev. I meant that the car is appealing to both ends of the spectrum, including the little kids and the grandparents.
Frankly, this car "reputation" stuff is nonsense. I wouldn't think twice about it, and I certainly wouldn't base a car decision on it.
