You would think since I spend a lot of my day telling people to quit smoking that I would heed to my own advice... I've tried.. But riding top down heater on blast at 2am down the 5 past san onofre is a tantric experience to say the least. I cant help but NEED a cigarette after riding her like that.

Why do so many people hate on the S2k. Cant we all just appreciate the cars for the marvels they are.
I think your incident was more about his ego than the cars. He obviously is incredibly ignorant when it comes to cars and driving.

It generally boils down to one or more of the following: insecurity, ignorance, ego. I love my car but it doesn't define who I am. For a lot of guys it seems that's not the case and how hard they can mash the pedal somehow proves something...

Do you guys get lots of haters when u guys cruise?
Not really and that seems surprising given that I'm in Houston. Haven't run into much of that in rural Texas either though.

LOL..they guy deserved it...

i had a similar experience last week...so im driving to School on 580, minding my own business, top-up...doing 65Mph on middle lane...and this old guy (55-65ish) in a Nissan Altima comes right next to me, and he starts watching me and rolling along, so i thought maybe he likes the car or something...and i nod my head (just a friendly hi)...and after 10 seconds he starts doing the d!ck sucking gesture to me and smiling at the same time...i was like WTF!!! so i just flipped him off and smiled.....for couple of days i was like WTF!!...

Sixburgh as in Pittsburgh? Well, that explains it. What a dump.
Wow. You have alot of nerve. Guess you live in NYC? Cool city, but thats the only place I have ever seen the Rats bigger than the homeless people. Guess they must be pretty well fed from all the trash in the streets. Dont get me wrong, I love NYC and the times I have been there have all been great, but dont call my city a dump, man.

Geez, where do you guys live? I've had my car since June 02' and my "hater" encounters have been next to nothing.

Had my car 4 months now. Daily driven. Not one negative encounter. Not even a Civic revving at me. My car is silver so it's basically invisible anyway.
