lol, i actually agree with the need to make noise if you're aware they coming too close for comfort.

an exhaust would be a constant noise... so no active work needed. x]
me? i'd probably just give a tapped honk.

this car has taught me to never stay in people's blind spots for more than a second. no one in SUVs ever see this car with their side view mirrors, and i have had people run me off the road, ESPECIALLY with the top down.

it's bad.

drive safely.

The only (and I mean only) thing I regret about driving my S2 is that it's made me so much more aware of just how little attention everyone out there seems to pay to how they're driving.

This just happened to me last week. I was behind a raised truck pulling out of a parking lot. He waited there for a good 15 seconds with no cars coming, then all of a sudden reversed. It was like an "OMG" moment. I've never shifted into reverse so fast before. I honked like crazy and he stopped. I guess he didn't see anyone and decided to reverse again. I held down the horn this time, but couldn't reverse anymore since there was another car behind me. Only reason he stopped was because EVERYONE started to honk. Boy, was that a close call.

I drive just like I ride my motorcycle; as if I'm invisible to everyone on the road. I try to drive as defensively as possible. I don't think in this day and age what people drive, peoples are too distracted. I'm convinced if I was driving a huge cheese colored school bus people would still not notice me!
