Default have you had your differential fail?

I keep reading threads about blown diffs, and lately everyone reports they are on backorder.

for something that is supposedly NOT a design flaw there sure are a lot of them being replaced!!!!

The CVs click one click at a time when load goes off and on, example, sudden acceleration, sudden deceleration...

The Diff will sound like many clicks, and it will be "circular clicking" , it's rate and sound will increase decrease with speed. Best heard in neutral with the car coasting at around 5-10 mph to a standstill....

Had my diff replaced twice. The first time which was 6 or more months ago, they had the new diff right away. This last time which was this this past month, it was on backorder.

What about creeking noises coming from the back end, whenever hitting a small bump or a driveway? I hear more and more of these creeking noises everyday and am getting it checked out on Wed. I mentioned to them I think it's my diff.
Any ideas?
