I removed the tape on my old GPW and it looked great, but I'm not too sure I want to remove it on my SPA. Anybody have pics with a SPA without the tape?

Definitely no. I think it looks tacky as hell.

Levi, you know my story.
I took mine off, paint wasn't perfect, but was able to buff it out.

Bought a black hardtop... put tape back on.

If I had a color matched hardtop, I'd have the tape off.
If not, then I'd leave the tape on, but it's your car.

I know it'll look good when I have the hardtop on, but I'd say at least 75% of my driving is with the hardtop off and top down.

Removed mine years ago.

Looks a little off if u have a black softop or HT. Looks sexy and blends beautifully if you have a color matched HT or have the soft top down.
To each their own...I believe all the 08-09's came with no windshield tape(Aside from the C/R's due to the Black HT as a standard).
