I received a new set of headrest prototypes today and installed them on my car. The fit was terrible. Chuck at Townsend Leather somehow changed the size of the piece that force fits into the hole and made it too large. I had to tear them apart, trim them down, and glue them back together to get them to fit.

But they still look great. Here are some photos:





So we'll be delayed a few more days while we get the fit problem fixed. I hope to get hte gropu buy going in a week.

Still looks like a terrific idea. I hope the production problem is ironed out quickly.. I have been waiting for these.

I don't think it will take more than a day or two to fix the fit problem, so I'm shooting for the group buy to start by Friday of this week or Monday the following week.

 

Two more S2000 logos on the car!!

 

I have no idea what the logo count is up to I like this one tho, I like to sit up perfectly straight with my head resting against the...ummm headrest But I have to lean my head back unnaturally about an inch to make contact so that would be perfect

 

I think Rick's response would be "What Logo. There is no logo. I have no idea how that got there." Get the idea.

 

The head rests will not under any circumstances be sold with the logo, unless, of course, Honda provides permission. As of now, we've not heard a word from them.

As part of my recently posted logo reduction plan , I will be replacing these last prototypes with head rests that have no logo.

 

At least no one will be asking you what kind of car is that?
