I have expierences with Amuse, Toda, Spoon , Mugen and J's.

Qualitywise, Spoon ,Mugen and Toda does have the best finish and nice welds. Amuse and J's are not as good cuz I think the flanges are not very nice.

Powerwise, Toda, Mugen and Spoon (among these 3) are very similar but Mugen makes the most mid-range while Toda makes the higest peak and Spoon makes the most power after peak. I have did comparison between J's Racing and Mugen, J's out perform Mugen by 10whp. I haven't dyno the Amuse so I cannot tell how much power it is making but for driving feel, mid-range and top end pulls pretty strong.

Weight :
Spoon 5.8kg
Mugen 6.4kg
Amuse 4.4kg
Toda 5-6kg
J's 4.5kg

I hope these info will help

Cheers !

Since my car is stock with a stock header. I'm probably not going to be much help with your post. But, since you are asking for header opinions, perhaps I could throw something else into the mix.

I have noticed that the (stock)header on my AP2 engine is larger than the (stock)one on my AP1. Could a simple (stock) header swap yield positive results...i.e. AP1 replaced with an AP2 header? I don't know the answer...but it may be worth looking into. Especially considering you should be able to pick up an AP2 header for less than aftermarket "performance" replacement.

It would be interesting to find out if anyone on the board has tried this. If so, it would be great to know if it produced more dyno proven HP.
