I want to do every breathing mod first (intake, header, test pipe, exhaust). But I have a question about headers--what's a good header that DOESN'T replace the cat? I want to go catless but I'd rather have a test pipe that I can swap out when it's time to do emissions inspection than have a header that replaces it. i think it'd be too much work to swap out a race header for the stock header + stock cat when the time comes. the only headers i've seen that don't replace the cat are the DC Sports ones. are they any good? suggestions?

sweet. ok i'm really embarassed now that i didn't realize that it doesn't replace the cat. just thought that's why they listed it as a race header.

does it give gains in sound/power that actually make a difference though?

 

I would look closely at the Berk Technologies, I don't know if the GB is still available, but if you are interested go to the GB Forum & take a look at it. It looks really good and the pricing is graat.
