Default Car shaking

I have read threads about this very topic but no one has ever given me a solution.

I am so frustrated I am contiplating selling my dang car.

At 70 mph to 80 mph my car starts shaking, It is not the tires the rims the balancing.

Other members have expierenced this and the only solution that I have heard is that when you get a hardtop it goes away Why?

Does anyone have this same thing and have a solution for me.

Please let me know

Thanks,

Jesse P

my guess would be the wind is flowing into the car which throws off the balance?

maybe try getting hardtop strikers which is about 50~80 bucks?

they say it reduces 35% of wind noise and locks up the top deeper.

it's an alternative for you to try, but it's just my mere guess.

Is there buildup inside of the rim? I had a ton of snow packed in my wheels and it shook like a mother, though I can't tell where you are from so just ignore this if you live anywhere below Alaska right now

it will not affect much to a point that the car feel shaky

you don't need a hard top striker to make it lock "deep" or "tighter"

you can acheive it by using a spacer for the striker, which cost any where from free to 1 dollar worth of washer.

to the OP: can they do a balance on the tires?

is the steering wheel shaking? what was the alignement?

psi on the tires? ball joint, tie rod ends okay?

areyou pulling to one side of the other when decel/accel?

tire pressure or wheelbalancing. maybe if you had work done that required your wheels to be removed they put them back wrong (mixed up front/back/right/left wheels)?
