Default Headers

Have seen headers from OBX and DSC . What can anyone tell me about these especially either the OBX racing headers and the - I belive correct me if I am wrong - the 4-2-1 DSC headers.

The S2000 only has a header...

OBX or DC headers will not give you any gain, most likely only weight reduction, some have claimed power loss with DC header, other claim slight torq gains (You can only imagin what a OBX header will do). If you really want some gains with a header the brands to go with are Mugen, Spoon, Amuse, Toda, Ricks custom Header, J's Racing...all have proven to make power. But will cost you 2 to 3 times that of a OBX or DC header.

Spoon is the best overall performance coupled with a Spoon exhaust. You will feel the best low end power from a Spoon setup.

I think Spoon is the worst sounding crap going and would not recommend it to anyone.

I can tell that you have 5 days on the board. Spoon is far from the best. The best header is probably an opinion, but the best proven gains for a header have been by the J's header.

As TriaX would say, the Spoon sounds like someone left a dremel running in a bucket of nails

Things haven't changed....

So tell us xxxs2000xxx, why do you feel Spoon is the best?

Why do you feel it makes the best low end power?

I'd like to know your first hand experiences...

I think the Spoon exhaust is the best sounding exhaust in the market. Since sound is subjective...its not a very good in helping other people deside which is better.
