I wouldnt look into getting the HKS. Maybe a T1R or Amuse Single Outlet.

so whats up with going single outlet?? why would there be a more significant power gain from that???

Single outlet has less restriction = more hp.
Most duals gain very little if any. I had HKS Dual Hi Power, and LOVED it. No more hp, but it was a little lighter and sounded amazing.
I have since gone with the T1r 70r (single) for power. I think Duals look better, but singles gain more power and weigh less (also louder).

The J's header is the one who made the most power. It weights 10 lbs so you gonna have big savings in weight beside getting more power.

What reasonable gains could I expect on an 03 with the J's header and 70RR muffler?

I am debating if the cost is worth it or not.
