Default Headlamp misting!!!Help

Hi guys,
Jet washed my car the other day and noticed that the offside headlamp had misted.
Thinking that it would be a quick job to remove it, dry it and reseal it, took it to the dealer and I was told that they only sell the headlamp as a whole unit and that they could only replace it.

The price?

I had the same exact problem and just fixed it today. It was pretty bad too. It covered the entire front of the housing. Heres what I did to fix it. It was fast and easy.

step 1- pop hood, reach in from behind where the high beam headlight bulp is
step 2- remove (unplug) the high beam harness from bulb
step 3- remove the black rubber seal-gasket from backside of high beam bulb by just pulling on it
step 4- remove high beam bulb by releasing metal clip then pull bulb out. do not touch glass on bulb
step 5- get a decent shop vacum and rout the hose so the inlet on the vacum is up against the small
hole were the high beam bulb was. turn vacum on till condensation is gone. mine took about
10 minutes
step 6- put it all back together
