When adjusting the right/left headlight, does turning the adjuster clockwise bring the beam up or down?

Let me rephrase, when i turn the knob clockwise, does the beam go up or down?

 

When you turn the knob clockwise, the beam should be going down.

 

to be sure, you could turn the beams on, then off and have someone put their arm or somethings on the wall where the light was shining at it highest point, then turn it more and see which way it is affected, up or down.....
